Did You Know? Personal Strategic Planning Part 3

Did you know that only 1% of any nation has any sort of plan for their lives and leadership? And that includes organisations or businesses.

Did you know that only 95% of those, actually apply their plan on a consistent basis? Or even look at their plan daily?

That tells you why
only a small percentage achieve their dreams, visions and goals consistently, and therefore see success, and breakthroughs in their everyday life.

King Solomon said: “People do the planning, but the end result is from the LORD.”

I remember a young lady that came to spend time with Michelle and I for personal mentoring. She had had a horrific experience while in another country. Upon her arrival I sensed she had lost all sense of purpose and value for her life and ministry.

Over the next few weeks I delicately mentored her in re-discovering and laying out her God-given purpose and plan. At first it was difficult for her to even believe she had value, but as I facilitated her journey of renewing, refocusing, and re-establishing her personal leadership, she began to lose the sense of purposelessness, and lost significance and no value that others had imposed on her.

Key after key of the Leadership Inspired Strategy Planning Blueprint, saw her demeanour, posture and her thinking and belief about herself change. She saw herself again as a significant individual who has purpose and a unique destiny that will be her God-given potential lived out for others.

She left a few weeks later, excited, passionate, prepared, and inspired for another season of her life, using what had happened to her as a new opportunity to assist others. I am very proud of her, she has started her own business, ministers to others in crisis, helps tutor children and generally has a very inspirational and faith-filled outlook on life.

Often times, life’s challenges and its crises can overwhelm you to the point you cannot see the proverbial “wood for the trees”. That’s when you need a strategic plan that directs your decisions and choices and that gives you focused actions that will engage all your resources for the perfect outcome you desire.

Taking the time to invest in yourself and your influence, which will have tremendous significance for ‘your’ world, will see you experiencing the break through you need, deserve and desire.

What does it take?

·         Time;

·         Commitment;

·         Some effort;

·         A desire to see your destiny and future;

·         And a belief that you will fulfill and experience it;

·         An investment to acquire the necessary skills.

Or…

You can just float through life, hoping it will all work out right somehow, somewhere, sometime!

The more time you spend contemplating what you should have done... you lose valuable time planning what you can and will do.
